Vince Snetterton wrote:Trebor Daehdoow wrote:When I am evaluating CSM candidates, I look for thoughtful professionals who can communicate well and are willing to work hard. mynnna makes the cut with ease. Errr...sorry Trebor. You are wrong. For those that want to get a real sense of what this guy is all about, go to the Zebra Crossings podcast interview. When asked why he is running, his answer was, after a pause,"because my wife said so." Also, listen throughout the interview for the long, long pauses where he has no clue what to say to simple, important questions, especially when asked about he current CSM. He was unprepared, or truly had no way to express himself. Good communicator indeed. Mynnna is a lock for the number 1 spot on he CSM because of who is backing him. But if he ran without the support of the null sec voting bloc, he would get lost in the noise of so many candidates who have nothing to add, nothing to say. This guy is going to be in the forefront of destroying high sec, mostly for his own purposes and economic cabal, not for the crazed uninformed reasons trumpeted by the standard null sec zealot. The koch brothers behind the tea party. I personally have never bothered with a crossing zebra interview of any candidate.
But what Myanna has posted on these forums was well thought out, clear and well communicated.
Maybe he is not a good speaker or maybe he likes to think before opening his mouth.
So the pauses might just be a pause for thought, and frankly that would be a good thing as too many people speak without thinking. And yes I know I just stood up for a Goon candidate but frankly I feel Myanna is the best one from Goonswarm so far and actually deserves of the seat he will get. EvE players have no voice. Just don't bother voting for the CSM, really its not worth the energy.

mynnna wrote:Vince well and truly has made up his mind. He's said elsewhere that he has nothing to say to me and so conversely, I have nothing to say to him. While I of course can force nothing, I'd encourage my "syncophants" to take the same approach and so keep the thread clear for other posters more willing to engage. Spoil Sport, I was hoping to be called a Goonsheep alt again EvE players have no voice. Just don't bother voting for the CSM, really its not worth the energy.

I neither case did these representatives of the Goonswarm live up to... or down to... the image I have been given for that group. Very disappointing... they need to work on that. It's far more entertaining these days to say level-headed, sensible, uncontroversial things then sit back and watch as forum idiots thrash wildly around proclaiming that since a Goon just said 1+1=2, this must be a lie and therefore 1+1=purple. See more lies from Goonswarm 1+1 is actually equal to pie, preferably blueberry.
But on a more serious note In the CSM 7 elections I referred to the members of Goonswarm as Goonsheep. I take it back.
Compared to Trebors voters you are all pillars of wisdom.
They cannot understand how he failed as CSM6 secretary. They do not even try to explain that in CSM 7 as Vice chairman he failed miserably with Seleene in communicating with the people of EvE. Just look at how many town halls they promised and how many were actually delivered. Not to mention the fact this forum was a grave yard.
But worst of all is the fact they have no idea what he is actually running for this year, at all and according to his Crossing Zebras interview, neither does he.
So my apologies for accusing you of being mindless sheep, as I think I have found those that are truly mindless, well I hope so.
But on the bright side following Trebors advice no one should endorse him on their ticket as he obviously has a block, well this voters do in place of their brains.
And is it just me or have Goonswarm policies become less extreme this year? We all thought CSM 6 was a war crime with it's massive Null Presence CSM7 topped it by selling out our Council to CCP, don't let it happen again. Vote or next time Incarna is your fault. Stupid Signature Broke

Just look at CSM7, if people were serious about the CSM they would have driven everyone insane.
As apparently the job of the CSM is to be always useful to CCP. Vote Now! My recommendations are:-á 1.James Arget 2.Ayeson 3.Nathan Jameson 4.Cipreh 5.Chitsa Jason 6. Malcanis 7. Mike Azariah 8. Do you feel the CSM needs to be seen as the voice of the players?
Also do you see the need for the CSM to distance its self from the corporate body of CCP, eg. to be seen as a separate entity? Vote Now! Before the polls close
How do you feel about the new STV voting system?
Do you understand it?
How do you feel about fact we can only identify 2 members of CSM7 who supported it?
Do you want it removed for a better or simpler system, while voting numbers are so low? Vote Now! My recommendations are:-á 1.James Arget 2.Ayeson 3.Nathan Jameson 4.Cipreh 5.Chitsa Jason 6. Malcanis 7. Mike Azariah 8. Ripard Teg 9. Mangala Solaris 10. Ali Aras 11. Roc Wieler And remember not voting is the same as voting for Null. |

I have noticed that you call anyone who criticizes the CSM a "lunatic"
Do you really feel that would be a good stance for a chairman as it is their job to communicate with the playerbase, frequently? Vote Now! As you understand STV so well.
What are the disadvantages of using an STV system in an electorate with a turnout as historically low as EvEs? Vote Now!
